The idea comes fromGarford's puzzle
Standard sudoku rules applies. Fill the grid with numbers from 1 to 6 so each digit occurs exactly once in every row, column and 2x3 box.
Numbers on the thermometer strictly increase until the spilt.When a thermo spilts, the sum of numbers at the beginning of all new thermos must equal the number on the preceding "parent thermo". For instance, R4C3=R4C4+R3C3. Think of it as a bunch of thermos connected by arrows, that'll help.
This puzzle is made by Old Miles from China. I don't think the original author knew how epic he/she had created. Thermo can now be extended to infinity and beyond. That means, thermo can now be used to create image as palindome and German whisper, which you would see on 14th.(what would the next puzzle looks like, I wonder.)

really nice, quite tricky to get around, but once you do it gets easier; i'm excited for what's to come of this variant
***bigger: please don't get too excited. I just don't want to handle another frustrated comment for not meeting his expectation. The less you expect from Old Miles, the bigger the surprise would be.

Right, so the new bulbs would be r3c3 and r4c4, effectively? And not at r3c4?
EDIT: Yep. That's how it works. Not super intuitive, but wasn't too difficult in the end.

Starting from the thermos, the first split will be formed at the three-way junction, and the next unit will form a new thermos.
