Gone with the window

(Eingestellt am 20. Januar 2021, 04:12 Uhr von bigger)

Standard sudoku rules applies. Fill the grid with numbers from 1 to 9 so each digit occurs exactly once in every row, column and 3x3 white and blue boxes.

The two digits outside some rows and columns are x-sum clue, reading outside in. X-sum clue is sum of the first x Digits in that direction with x as the first digit.

For instance, If the first row of the blue window on the right is 456, it means the 4 digit, R2c6789, have a sum of 65, which is impossible in case you didn't notice.

This puzzle is made by Old Miles in 2017. It's been a long time since I said that.So back to the future we go.

It's kind of odd now that the puzzle isn't hard. I'm still thinking about whether or not should I turn the whole rule into a fully coded story. The story puzzle I've posted up till now still only lightly coded, and not that much people check those out.Another author, borescoper, made excellent story rules. It would be kind of loss If you guys haven't experience the fun of decoding. After all, that is also an idea that was taken from this website.

Lösungscode: Row 5 and column 5 (18 digits) - you kind of figure out the orientation of the x-sum doesn't matter, right? I'm not going to stuck you on that.

It's a tricky one, but if you look at the right places there is a nice logical path. Thanks for sharing this fun challenge :-)

Nice concept. I don't know what you or Old Miles consider "not hard" but even with that many digits given, the puzzle needed a nice amount of reflection. Fun.
***bigger: You have already solved the previous puzzles. This one is way easier than the two cell kropki series. That's why, not hard. It takes some time, but I think everyone can find the way. It's just x-sum with some restraint.

Maybe this is just a rule set concept, so the topic is very simple, thank you!
