Pencil puzzle sudoku hybrid series #4 - 6x6 Heki irregular sudoku

(Eingestellt am 20. November 2020, 21:44 Uhr von Aspartagcus)

Here's another pencil puzzle sudoku hybrid. :)
This one should be plenty easier than my previous ones, but still fun.

It's a hybrid between heki and sudoku. If you are unfamiliar with heki, check out this link:
Heki rules and example

RULES:
- Irregular sudoku rules apply: Each row, column and region needs to contain the digits 1-6, and the regions need to be determined.
- Kropki rules apply: Cells separated by a white dot contain consecutive digits. Cells separated by a black dot contain digits with a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are specified.
- Modified heki rules apply:
+ Divide the grid into regions of six cells.
+ All digits, except 5s, 6s and digits in circles, indicate how many cells of the same region are orthogonally adjacent to the cell with the digit. (Regular heki only have two digits per region.)
+ The given edges indicate boundaries between regions.

Here is an example, where all cells that contain invalid values have been colored red.

And this is the puzzle:

Enjoy!

This was definitely a 3 difficulty for me, but I loved it! Great logic!

Thanks! Appreciate it! :)

The puzzle sadly lacks disambiguation near the end when it comes to which way around it goes with placement of four 2s, five 6s and all 5s. Was fun up until then.

------

Aspartagcus: I solved it again myself, and I fail to see any other solution. Are you sure you haven't missed the heki constraint on one of your 2s? I can see a second solution with the digits you describe being shuffled around if you put a 2 where it is only connected to one other cell of its region.
