Skyscraper Palindrome: A New Puppy To Play!

Place the numbers 1-9 once each in each row and column in the 9x9 grid. (There are no regions.)

Digits along each grey line read the same from both directions.

Each digit represents a skyscraper a number of storeys high equal to its value. Skyscrapers obscure the view of those the same height or shorter behind it. Clues outside the grid indicate how many skyscrapers can be seen from that direction into the grid. The skyscraper clue in the bottom left faces to the right only.

To play immediately, the Penpa+ link is here, enjoy! This is the canonical sequel to a previous Shattered Palindrome Sudoku, which may be useful to introduce similar logical concepts.

For reference, the rows are denoted from 1-10 and the columns from 0-9 so that cells inside the grid correspond to the same location in a classic Sudoku.

Lösungscode: Column 0 then Row 2, in a 20-digit string.

There are so many combinations without the box rule. So I had really to look, without making mistakes.
Tough puzzle.

@hamslice Just so you know, I've spent a couple of hours on this one, and thought I had it, but after an unaccepted solution code, I realized I'd messed-up on a Palindrome early stage. Then I started all over again and came up with 4 different paths and they all came up short by one digit. I'm sure I'm close but I feel slightly disheartened cause I'm sure that early on there must be another option that I've excluded and with that, opening up several more paths. Too many to spent time on, for now...

@PrimeWeasel There are no "different paths" to try and go down - there's a straight route from start to finish. Do you want some help? :)
