## Killer Sudoku

(Eingestellt am 10. August 2020, 04:49 Uhr von meowzzz)

Normal sudoku rules apply:
• Fill each row, column, and box with the digits 1 through 9.

Killer sudoku rules apply:
• The sum of all numbers in a cage must match the small number printed in its corner.
• No number appears more than once in a cage.

This puzzle attempts to force the solver to use a little trick, although it's not needed. Hint in comments below :)

HINT BELOW!!!!!!!!!!
This puzzle attempts to use Phistomefel-theory in some way http://forum.logic-masters.de/showthread.php?tid=1811. Although it's likely that it is not needed.

SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!

EDIT: made the hint public, didn't make sense if they need to solve it to see the hint.

@Phistomefel someone will eventually find a way to use the theory :)

Nice puzzle!

Imagine somebody randomly stumbling upon this page. It is their first time on the website, perhaps they were looking at other puzzles. Imagine somebody printing your puzzle and wanting to give it to a friend. They don't know what sudoku is or what a Killer Cage is. Will they know what to do with this? Will they be turned away by something that looks incomplete?

It might seem silly to repeat what normal sudoku and killer rules are but it is part of making things look nice and complete. Something simple like:

“Fill each row, column, and box with the digits 1 through 9. The numbers on the corners of the cages indicate the sum of the digits inside the cage. Digits cannot repeat within cages.”

:)
