Each row, column, and region contains two stars AND two "dark matter" cells. Stars cannot touch other stars, including diagonally. In the same way, dark matter cannot touch other dark matter. However, a star may be adjacent to (but not in the same cell as) dark matter. Number clues in white circles are astronomers searching for stars, and their number tells how many stars are in their line of sight vertically and horizontally. Number clues in black circles are physicists searching for dark matter, and their number tells how many dark matter cells are in their line of sight vertically and horizontally. Both stars and dark matter stop line of sight, but number clues do not. If a number clue is in a cell that is occupied by a star or dark matter, that cell is the only cell the clue can see.

Lösungscode: Starting from the top, for each row enter the column of the leftmost star. Then, starting from the top again, for each row enter the column of the leftmost dark matter cell.

That was a great puzzle! You do have to be careful, as it is very easy to make a mistake along the way.
