Heatmap Sudoku

(Eingestellt am 13. Juni 2020, 16:19 Uhr von Jesper)

Regeln

Version in schwarz-weiß (dunkelgrau statt orange; lichtgrau statt gelb):

Enjoyed this, thanks, but I cannot get over how many times I broke it. I don't think I've ever broken a puzzle so many times. But I got there in the end.

The heat is on !
Thanks for this nice puzzle. Going through your library is a delight. I fear I might run out of your puzzles quite soon...
Funnily, in your description, you mention the fact that you wanted to make a grid with no given digit, as if it was exceptionnal at that time, where nowadays it is the contrary that has become a rarity, because most of the grids are digitless, and even the clues have turned to question marks...

EDIT @Christounet: Thanks for all your solves and the nice comments! It makes me really happy to hear that you are enjoying going through my back catalogue. You are very much correct that my description on this puzzle did not age so well - I definitely would have phrased it differently if I would post such a puzzle today :)

@Richard: Thanks! I will definitely check out the SVS puzzle you mentioned with similar logic.

Nice one!
Easy going solve; three stars difficulty for me. Although the rules are different, I could apply a lot of logic that can also be found in the variant 'Sum of them': https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=0002UT

Had to restart about four times but I got there in the end. Great puzzle and a fantastic use of that rule set.

@Narayana: Thanks! You are indeed right about the possibility of a quadruple!

Really nice variant! I would be interested in seeing a top heat level version. Red square=4 combos. Something like:
_|1
1|32
-.--
_|2
Maybe this will inspire me to set my first puzzle!

I enjoyed that. I was stumped at the very end, thought you had an unresolvable pair of 5/9's, and then remembered the negative restriction and hunted about - and sure enough, it resolved. Nice job. This is a variation I think could be popular.
