The usual sudoku rules apply. An area surrounded by a dashed line is called a cage. A number in the upper left corner of a cage indicates the sum of the digits within the cage. Digits may not repeat within a cage. Additionally, a cage may not contain consecutive digits. Hence, for instance, a 5-digit-cage must contain exactly the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.

Somehow missed this first time round, but solving it in 2025 it still stands up which is saying something given how quickly sudoku has developed since 2020. Prefigures nabner too. Great stuff, thanks.
