Tarot Cards & Numbers, Ep.6

(Eingestellt am 19. November 2019, 10:00 Uhr von gjchangmu)

Rule:
Place all the available cards into different blank cells, and fill all remaining blank cells with numbers 1 to 6. Each row and column must not contain repeated numbers or cards, unless a card effect states otherwise. Each card has its own effect.

Note:
There may be cells that are already filled with given cards. These given cards are not included in the available cards list.

Card effects:
Blank Card (B): This card has no effect.
Chariot Card (C): Any two adjacent cells in the row this card is placed in must not be consecutive numbers.
Death Card (D): This card must be placed in the rightmost column or the bottom row. There must not be more than one cards that share the minimum distance to this card, i.e. there must be only one card (instead of tied by multiple cards) that is closest to this card. Distance from cell X to cell Y is calculated as how many steps in minimum it takes to travel from X to Y, in which each step travels to a horizontal or vertical adjacent cell. For example, distance from r1c1 to r2c3 is 3.
Emperor Card (E): The adjacent cells surrounding this card (including diagonal ones) must not contain odd numbers.
Fool Card (F): The row this card is placed in must contain exactly two cells that have the same number or the same card. Other cells in this row than the mentioned two cells still must not have repeated numbers or cards and they must not have the same number or card as that in the mentioned two cells.
Hermit Card (H): The row this card is placed in must not contain number 1.
Judgement Card (J): The immediate adjacent cells above and below this card must be numbers. The number above must be larger than the number below. This card must not be placed in the upmost or bottom row.
Lovers Card (L): The Immediate adjacent cells left and right to this card must be numbers, and the sum of the two numbers must equal to how many columns there are in the puzzle grid. This card must not be placed in the leftmost or rightmost column.
Magician Card (M): There must be at least 1 card that this magician card points to, i.e. in the same column as this magician card and below this magician card. The card this magician card points to loses its effect (as if it was a blank card, but not actually changing its type when counting for repeated cards). If there are multiple cards pointed by this magician card, only the closest one loses its effect.
Power Card (P): Assuming the puzzle grid has N columns, then N-1, N-2 and N-3 are called power numbers. All power numbers in the row this card is placed in must be adjacent to each other, i.e. occupying a succession of uninterrupted cells. Order does not matter. Power numbers are allowed to be missing in this row.
Sun Card (S): The adjacent cells surrounding this card (including diagonal ones) must not contain repeated numbers or cards.
Tower Card (T): All cells that are a knight-move away from this card (2 cells horizontally and 1 cell vertically away from this tower card, or 1 cell horizontally and 2 cells vertically away from this tower card) must not contain cards.

@gjchangmu: Maybe you should make the hidden comment from Nov20 visible for everyone, since it gives the answer to ManuH's question.

I think your puzzles are innovative, some of them a little bit unusual, but still good. But the idea of our site is to have a wide variety, so for me they are absolutely welcome here. And as long as their rating is around 80% or higher, people like it. So don't worry to publish it here, as long as the ratings are good. Many people here want authors to flood the site with puzzles.

And we want to see Luigi fighting for 100%.

Well, all the 12 cards I designed before episode 1 have been introduced. In this last episode, 10 of them appears, which is a lot and may cause headache, so I reduced the logic difficulty of this episode.

Actually I hoped to design 13 cards, because there are 13 unique capital letters in tarot cards. One currently missing in design is World Card. I don't know what effect to give it. I hope all cards each has an effect that feels unique and I'm out of ideas.

I designed this series as a new kind of puzzle game and I'm kind of satisfied with it. I'm able to easily generate more of this type, and I think it has potential, but I will stop here to avoid flooding this website.

This not only may be the last puzzle in the series, but also might be the last puzzle I publish here in schedule. I think I will only publish new ones when I'm interested in inventing new ideas again.
