Well I'm learning more German words :) I almost stopped because I didn't think that 3050 was ever possible, until I saw your clue and I should not make assumptions...

Added one extra line to really make the solution unique even without the hint in the solution description.

Not many solvers yet.
I'm not a big fan of meta-puzzles myself actually. But this puzzle is not more 'meta' than the original, just a bit more 'puzzle'. Here are some clarifications, for those who solved Richard's original puzzle:
- The only difference with Richard's original is that in this puzzle you also need to figure out how to first shift all digits by +/-1. Then the puzzle is of similar type than the original.
- Having the solution to Richard's puzzle you are already half way done with this puzzle too
- The Description of the solution contains a Deliberate clue about how to make the third equation work, since this is the trickiest part of this puzzle.
- The format of the solution code is exactly the same as in the original; actually I first tried the code for this puzzle in the original until I realized I was making things too complicated.

I changed the description of the solution. It was incorrect before.

@Alex: you are right, BB does not make any sense, it should be II. The right side of the final sum is correct however. The solution is different from the one in the original puzzle from Richard of course, although you could argue that the solution should be valid there too as the first two lines of the puzzle are identical ;-).
