X-Parity (Odds vs Evens)

(Published on 3. November 2026, 11:48 by RockyRoer)

The Rules:

  1. [Sudoku] Normal sudoku rules apply - fill every row, column, and region with the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
  2. [X-Parity Differences] Clues outside the grid describe the difference between the sum of the even digits and the sum of the odd digits in the first x cells seen from the direction of the clue where x is the digit in the cell next to the clue.

    Example: 314259876 would have a 0 on the left hand side because (3+1) - (4) = 0 and a 5 on the right because (5+7+9) - (6+8+2) = 5

The Puzzle: Try it on Sven's Sudokupad
