For this Sudoku Variants Project I have planned to publish a unique Sudoku variant every week.
Toroidal diagonals
Inspiration for this type comes from dade.
Solve online in Sudokupad.
I will see how long it takes before I am running out of ideas.
Place the digits from 1 tot 9 in every row, column, 3x3 box and every coloured diagonal. Eight of these diagonals wrap around the grid, continuing on the right side after reaching the left border.
Solution code: Column 1.

Well constructed puzzle, although it took me a couple of attempts to spot all the clean steps. Good scanning exercise!

diagonal scanning definitely harder than horizontal/vertical. Nice construction with minimal number of givens. thanks
