Palindrama #6

(Published on 3. November 2026, 23:16 by lgastako)

Here's the latest puzzle in my Palindrama series. I hope you enjoy. As always, feedback is welcome an encouraged.

  • Normal Sudoku Rules: Fill each row, column, and 3x3 box with the digits 1-9 once each.
  • Palindrome Lines: Digits along a gray palindrome line must read the same forwards and backwards in either direction.
  • White Kropkis/Black Kropkis: Digits in cells separated by a white dot are consecutive. Digits in cells separated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio.
  • Choose your own adventure:

Additionally you must use one of the following rules to complete the puzzle:

    • There is a negative constraint on black kropkis - that means ALL BLACK DOTS ARE GIVEN.
    • There is at least one three in the corner (of the overall board) in this puzzle.

Choose whichever you prefer, they will both get you were you need to go.

Great puzzle! I forgot about the CYOA until I feared I had an unresolvable set of digits at the very end.

I really love palindromes, so this series is always delightful to see, thank you! I didn't think the additional constraints would be necessary until right at the end, when they came in clutch. Very fluid and engaging solve.

The negative constraint is not needed.

I had wondered how these self-imposed rules might work. During the game, I completely forgot about them, but then I noticed them at the end. It was really enjoyable.

Nice puzzle, 2* for me, because I've NOT used the negative constraint.

Cute puzzle!
Only one thing: the additional constraint is NOT mentioned in the SudokuPad's ruleset!
