My Second Fog of War!
This is my second Fog of War Sudoku puzzle. I would love to hear your feedback on the logic, difficulty, and overall solving experience.
Rules:
Sudoku: Place the digits 1–9 in every row, column, and 3×3 box, without repetition.
Killer cages: Digits in each cage sum to the number shown in its corner. Digits may repeat within cages.
Math cages: Apply the operation shown in each cage to obtain the indicated result. Digits may repeat within cages.
Kropki dots: A white dot indicates a difference of 1. A black dot indicates a ratio of 1:2.
Thermometers: Digits strictly increase from the bulb to the tip.
Arrows: The digit in the circle equals the sum of the digits along the arrow. Digits may repeat along arrows.
V clues: Digits connected by a V sum to 5.
Orange lines: Adjacent digits along an orange line differ by at least 5.
Fog of War: Some cells and clues are initially hidden. Correct placements reveal their cell and the surrounding eight cells. Hidden clues become visible when revealed.
Additional notes: Each Killer and Math cage is connected through cell sides. You may enter a digit under the fog when it is logically determined from the visible clues and normal Sudoku rules.
Play online: Open in SudokuPad
Solution code: Enter the nine digits in the bottom row (row 9), reading from left to right, without spaces.

@phono Thanks! Tomorrow I’ll post a really challenging "fog of war" — I’m already working on it!)

Congrats on your second fog puzzle! Everything looks fine and it solves to a unique solution. Maybe a little inconsistant in regards to difficulty - mostly very (too?) easy except for the German Whispers line. Keep going!

@Geese Perhaps you mistook the minimum difference in the lines due to their color; I have already changed it to green, as I was informed that it should be green.

Change Orange lines to green (German whispers) (5)

@Geese It’s strange—my logic solver shows a solution, and it is indeed logical... Could it be that you overlooked some of the rules? I have a screenshot of the solution along with an explanation for each step; where can I send it?

@sort "x16" means that the numbers in the cells, when multiplied together, result in 16, while "+18" means that the numbers in the cells, when added together, result in 18. What’s so confusing about that? It’s stated right in the rules—these are just standard math-puzzle cells.

Fun puzzle. Expected it to be more complicated than it was. Thank you!

your math cages makes no sense just what am i suppose to do with the info x16 + 18 ??? is the number suppose to be something that can be x times 16 so 52x16 = 832 be a valid number ?? and 18+ ....anything above 18 ??
