Rules:

  • Latin Square:
    • Place the digits 0-9 once each in every row and column

  • Renban:
    • Magenta renbans connect consecutive digits

  • Pentominoes:
    • Tile the grid with pentominoes such that two pentominoes of the same shape are not orthogonally adjacent (including rotation and reflection)
    • Digits in a pentomino do not repeat
    • A letter clue has been given in the leftmost cell of the uppermost row of some pentominoes. This letter is the shape of the pentomino shifted down the English alphabet by the sum of the pentomino, wrapping back around to A after Z (a T pentomino with a sum of 7 would appear as A)
    • Two pentominoes of the same shape must contain the same digits in the same positions (allowing for rotations and reflections)
    • Pentomino shape names are F, I, L, N, P, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z

Pentomino Shapes:

There are a lot of very cool and satisfying steps in this puzzle. Don't be intimidated by the ruleset, every step is very well telegraphed and all of them are super fun and not very hard.
