Schrödinger's Kropki Chaos (5x5)

(Published on 24. October 2026, 19:52 by PrissyP)

Welcome to Schrödinger's Chaos, a series of 8 puzzles, with two puzzles released each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays!

All puzzles are only 5×5, but don't underestimate them, the logic can still be challenging.

Region building plays a major role in these puzzles, which can make them quite brainbending very quickly. If you ever need a small hint because you get stuck feel free to DM me on Discord(PrissyP0431). I hope you enjoy solving them as much as I enjoyed creating them!

Good luck, and prepare for some chaos!

Rules

Schrödinger’s Chaos Construction:

Divide the grid into 5 orthogonally connected regions. Every row, column and region contains the digits 1–6 exactly once.

Exactly one cell in each row and each column is a Schrödinger cell (S-cell) containing two different digits. Every S-cell belongs to two regions at once: one of its digits counts for the first region, the other digit for the second region.

Every region contains exactly two S-cells, so each region consists of four normal cells plus one digit from each of its two S-cells.

The value of a normal cell is its digit. The value of an S-cell is the sum of its two digits.

Kropki Pairs:

Cells separated by a black dot have values in a 2:1 ratio and do not share a region.

Cells separated by a white dot have consecutive values and share at least one region.

Not all dots are necessarily given.

Solution code: The digits of the region in Row 3, Column 3. Left to right, top to bottom(Only the correct digit of each S-Cell).
