Bent Out of Shape
(Published on 11. October 2026, 22:39 by PukuDas)
My first attempt at making a Chaos Construction Puzzle. I hope you enjoy it.
Happy Solving!
Rules
- Special Chaos Construction: Normal 6x6 Sudoku rules apply. Divide the grid into six regions of orthogonally connected cells. The shape of each region must be perfectly identical (rotations and reflections are counted). Each row, column, and region must contain the digits 1 to 6 exactly once.
- Region-Sum Lines: The blue line is a region-sum line. Region borders divide the line into segments, and the digits along each segment must sum to the same value. (A segment is formed only when region borders fully cross the line at both ends).
- Palindromes: Digits along the grey line read the same forwards and backwards.
- Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the number in its connected circle.
- Thermometers: Digits along a thermometer strictly increase from bulb to tip.
Solution code: Row 4

this is not going to be level 2.
why?
because the clues are too weak to do much beyond disambiguation, so the main effort will be figuring out the allowed shape pattern.
and that, you either know a priori, or you have to spend hours working out from scratch.
so you are in 'experts only" territory.
