Signposts and Signals

(Published on 10. October 2026, 15:07 by jakestilesowen)

Rules:

Normal 7x7 sudoku rules apply (with irregular regions).

Nearly Exhaustive Path:
Draw a path starting in the top left. The path never moves diagonally and never visits a cell twice. 48 out of the 49 cells in the grid must be visited by the path.

Signposts:
The first cell is a signpost. A signpost with digit N requires the path to travel horizontally to column N or travel vertically to row N. The path then makes a 90 degree turn using its turning cell as the next signpost. (e.g. A first digit of 4 could mean travel to row 4, then landing on a 6 would mean to travel to column 6, etc.)

Signals:
The 5 circles contain five different digits from 1-5. Those digits count how many times the path exits their region.
