Normal sudoku rules apply.
Anti-king: cells a king's move apart cannot contain the same digit.
Battle cages: the digit in a cage's clue appears exactly twice in that cage, and every other digit appears at most once.
I was inspired by how Star Battle and Sudoku could combine into a unique puzzle. The battle cages play on this: the clue digit acts like the star for that cage, since it has to appear twice in the cage, and the anti-king rule keeps the two copies (and all other digits) apart. I hope you enjoy it! Feedback is appreciated!
