CoaleScells, with PrissyP (Schrödinger Isofill)

(Published on 2. October 2026, 16:20 by Oddlyeven)

This is a collaboration between PrissyP and myself. We hope you enjoy!

Schrödinger Isofill: Divide the grid into nine regions, each with ten orthogonally connected cells. Each region has a digit associated with it and every cell in that region contains that digit. All of the digits from 1 to 9 must appear in the grid. One cell in every row and column is a Schrödinger cell that contains two digits. A Schrödinger cell is part of two different regions and each region contains two different Schrödinger cells. A Schrödinger cell's value counts as the sum of its digits for the following rules. All other cells have value equal to their digit.
Arrows: Values along an arrow sum the value in that arrow's circle.
Circles: The value in an arrow's circle also counts how many cells (including itself) in the same region or regions as the circle cell are seen orthogonally in all directions. Cells that are not in the circle cell's region(s) block line of sight. If a circle is in two regions it counts both regions combined.
Dots: Two cells joined by a black dot have values where one is double the other. Two cells connected by a white dot have consecutive values.

Surprised this has so few solves. Break in was clever, and the puzzle flowed very well. Really cool logic all the way through. Not sure if this should be 4 or 5 difficulty though.
