Renban Battleships, by HertogHJ
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.
- Battleship: An armada of 15 ships is hidden in the grid. It's your task to find their locations.
The armada includes 1 flight carrier (length 5), 2 battleships (length 4), 3 cruisers (length 3), 4 destroyers (length 2), and 5 submarines (length 1).
Each ship occupies a number of contiguous squares on the grid, arranged horizontally or vertically. The ships are placed so that no ship touches any other ship, not even diagonally.
- Distinct renban ships: Each ship must contain a consecutive set of digits, in any order. Digits cannot repeat on ships of the same length.
- Parity water: Adjacent squares not containing ships must contain one even digit and one odd digit. The square on r7c5 does not contain a ship(part).
- Kropki: Digits seperated by a white dot are consecutive. Digits seperated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio (one is double the other). Digits seperated by a yellow dot are non-consecutive. Digits seperated by a red dot must contain one even digit and one odd digit.
