- Normal 9x9 sudoku rules apply.
- Suns and Shadows: If a given clue C enters a row/column marked by a sun then a shadow of C is created. A shadow is an identical copy of the entire clue C, orthogonally shifted N cells from C away from the sun, where N is the sun's value (nonzero and to be deduced by the solver). The shadow still obeys the original clue's logic, and all shadows must appear at least partially within the grid. If a shadow is partially outside the grid, its logic applies only to the cells it occupies inside the grid.
- For example, if the sun above box 1 has value 1, then the 14 cage, 10 cage, kropki dot, and region sum line are copied and shifted down one cell.
CLUE TYPES
- Region Sum Lines: Box borders divide blue lines into segments with the same sum. **Valid region sum lines must occupy at least two boxes.**
- Killer Cages: Digits in cages sum to the small number in the top-left corner.
- Kropki: If a white dot sits between two digits, they are consecutive.
- Even: The digit in the grey square must be even.
