Lockstep is an approachable variant Sudoku built around two linked clone regions.
Sudoku:
Place the digits 1–9 in every row, column, and 3×3 box, with no repeats.
Clone Regions:
Corresponding cells in the two shaded clone regions contain the same digit.
German Whispers:
Adjacent digits along a green German Whisper line must differ by at least 5.
Kropki Dots:
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.
Digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.
Not all possible Kropki dots are necessarily given.
