Chaos Construction: Digits are not repeated in rows, columns, or regions. The grid is divided into nine hidden regions, each consisting of orthogonally connected cells containing the digits 1-9.
Yin Yang: Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 cluster of cells is entirely shaded or unshaded. Digits orthogonally along shaded cells must be ascending or descending, with 1 and 9 reversing the direction. All shaded cells with exactly one orthogonally adjacent shaded cell contain the same digit.
Arrows: A digit on an arrow indicates the length of the uninterrupted run of cells immediately beyond the arrow, in the arrow's direction, that belong to the same region as the arrow cell.
Cages: Digits in a cage sum to the number in the top-left of the cage and cannot repeat. Within each cage, all digits of the same parity share the same region, and digits of opposite parities cannot share a region.
Thermometers: Cells on a thermometer are shaded and belong to the same region. Digits along a thermometer increase from the bulb.

Solution code: Shaded cells in Column 1, top to bottom, followed by shaded cells in Column 6, top to bottom

It's indeed rather confusing when borders of different shading and borders of regions don't correspond. It make sthe puzzle extra hard. Great use of ascending/descending lines smoothened the sudoku part. Thanks

Exceptional puzzle that's actual difficulty (logic and flow-wise) is around 4*. However, clashing YY and CC notations make it a bit harder to navigate and elevate this to a 5*.
Very VERY enjoyable and smooth solve, if you have some spare time(and it will take some), give this puzzle a chance!
