Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits in the cells with blue squares form a complete set from 1-9. 159 rules apply: Each digit in column 1 indicates the position of 1 in its row (that is, if R3C1 is a 6, R3C6 is a 1). The same is true in columns 5 and 9 of the digits 5 and 9, respectively. Digits in a cage must sum to the little number in the upper left, and may not repeat in the cage. For clarity, the cage in R78C5 is a 5-cage. I think this puzzle is 2 stars out of 5 difficulty for many solvers. As always, comments welcome. Thanks!

Very nice and very fun! I only bumped it to two stars because the final trick I used wasn't available to me early on in my puzzle solving journey. But I loved it!

Great puzzle! Not difficult, but also the next step wasn't always obvious. Clever solve path and I enjoyed the addition of the extra region to a 159 puzzle.

Started on 159 puzzles recently (would have been scared off a month ago!) and this is one of the lovely ones. Thank you
