This is an approachable puzzle from the Mindbenders Week 2026. Have fun and leave a comment.
Rules:
Standard sudoku rules apply.
Cells joined by a black dot must have a ratio of 1:2. Cells joined by a white dot must have a difference of 1. No negative constraint.
Every renban line contains a set of consecutive digits in any order, without repeats (the green part of the lines do NOT imply a german whisperer rule).
Cells separated by an X must sum to 10. Cells separated by a V must sum to 5. Not all Xs and Vs are necessarily given (no negative constraint).
Solution code: Row 9 left to right.

I agree, the thermometers threw me off at first, too. Otherwise, nice puzzle

Really nice approachable puzzle, but please consider reviewing the rules as it was somewhat confusing.
For clarity, the green lines are the renban lines; the purple thermometer looking things don't seem to do anything.
