[TSL][S2T4] Eighteen Arrows

(Published on 19. September 2026, 12:30 by sujoyku)

For Turn 4 of the Skunkworks League season 2, I have set an arrows puzzle where each arrow also gives a counting circle. It might be somewhat easier than 3*, but as I found the break-in not too easy, I will leave it at 3* and see if it goes down or not.
As always, I wish you joyful solving!

Rules:

- Normal Sudoku rules apply, i.e. place the digits from 1 to 9 once in each Row, Column, and 3x3 region.

- Arrows: Digits on an arrow must sum to the digit in the circle from which it emerges.

- Counting Arrow Circles: A digit in an arrow’s circle indicates exactly how many arrow circles contain this digit.

Here you can solve the puzzle online:

Solution code: Row 5 from left to right (9 digits in total)

Very satisfying puzzle! Thank you

I would say 1.5* because the break in seems daunting but actually is fairly simple (once you’ve found it after spending 30mins looking for it in the sea of arrows!:D)

Thank you for your comment, Winterbeard! I am glad that you found the puzzle to be satisfying.

I really like this puzzle because essentially, you have to spot a few (not too easy but also not too difficult) deductions before the puzzle entirely breaks down. Really nice, thank you sujoyku!
