Paradox Cells

(Published on 18. September 2026, 15:57 by tjmac28)

Solve on SudokuPad

Overlapping Sudoku: Fill each grid with digits 1-6. Digits cannot repeat within either grid's rows, columns or 2x3 boxes.

Paradox Cells: Each row and column within the overlapping portion of the grids contains exactly one "Paradox cell". Each paradox cell contains two strictly different digits that each count as part of only one of the two grids. For the sake of clues, a paradox cell is considered to contain both digits at once.

Killer Cages: Digits within a cage do not repeat and sum to the number in the top left corner.

White Kropki Dots: Digits separated by an outlined white dot are consecutive.

Solution code: First column top to bottom (darker grid).

Wow, this is ... something. And I mean this in the best way possible. Brilliant idea, excellently executed! I think one of the hardest things was figuring out how to pencilmark digits in the least confusing way :D

Mind-bending but some very nice logic comes out of it.

I feel the logic needed to break through this puzzle is very unintuitive, so it's probably 3* for me. Very mind-bending but interesting puzzle, so thanks .w.
