(Published yesterday, 07:00 by Flinty)

Previous Dutch Flat Mate Puzzles
This has been a weekly series since '18 Oct 23'. Here is a spreadsheet link for all the previous puzzles in the series, which also has a few teasers for upcoming constraints/guest setters in the series (subject to change).
This alternative link offers a limited LMD search for Dutch Flat Mates.
Special Thanks
Thank you to GoodCity for sharing the setting of this puzzle with me!
This puzzle marks 3 years of weekly 'Dutch Flat Mates' episodes, always paired with a fresh constraint and released every Wednesday without fail! - We did it mate! ...and no I'm not crying, I've just got something in my eye.

Hint to start

Consider the 9 sum in Row 2, where can those digits be placed in Row 1? Happy 5s are always welcome too!

Visual Example:
  • Where A and B are the first two digits in that row or column.
    • e.g. A = 5 and B = 7
  • The nearest clue is the sum of A and B in that row or column.
    • 5 + 7 = 12
  • The farthest clue is the sum of the Ath and Bth digits in that row or column.
    • With A = 5 and B = 7, we look at the 5th and 7th digits
    • The 5th digit is 6 and the 7th digit is 1, so 6 + 1 = 7

Next Week
Episode #158 will be asking a very timely question, 'What is Beyond 159?' — and for this series, the answer is: our work here is done. GoodCity was the first ever guest setter on my series (Episode #9, 13 Dec 23), and next week he releases the penultimate puzzle of our series.
