Escape Rooms

(Published on 14. September 2026, 23:00 by ThePedallingPianist)

I set this for the Secret Impostor 2026 event hosted by Scojo - huge thanks to him and his fiancée for organising it. In 2024 and 2025, I tried to imitate the LMD landing pages of my impostee as well as their setting style, but given that I've already started more or less plagiarising the formatting ChinStrap started using last month, I guess I'll just leave it like this.

Squishdoku: In the central 7x7 area, place the digits 1 through 9 once each in every 3x3 box, without repeats in any row or column. Cells on region borders (dashed lines) are shared between multiple boxes.

Numbered Rooms: All outside cells on a clue must contain a digit. That digit must also appear in the Nth position looking into the grid in the row/column, where N is the digit in the first position and must be no more than 7.

Arrow: Digits on a green arrow sum to the digit in the attached circular bulb.

Worra: No combination of one or more digits along the red arrow sums to the digit in the attached octagonal bulb.

Index: The value in the Nth cell along the blue line (starting from the diamond) indicates the position along the line where the value N appears. For example, if the diamond cell has a value 3, the third cell along that line must have a value 1.

Hit Line: Digits on the yellow line may not repeat. The digit on the attached square is the sum of all digits that match their position along the line (starting with the square as position 1).

Kropki: The purple dot separates digits where one is double the other.

Solution code: Row 5 of the 7x7 grid (7 digits total)
