Rules:
FILLOMINO: Divide the grid into regions of orthogonally connected cells, and fill each cell so that it displays the number of cells in its region.
In this puzzle, region borders always sit between two consecutive numbers. Some region borders are shown.

The given region borders may well be the edges of the first cotyledons sprouting, one vertical, the other in a more horizontal position. Very nice. Thanks

You have to build up a whole new intuition to solve this puzzle. Once you've got it, it's probably a 1 or 2 star puzzle, but since I hadn't, I'm giving it a 3.
Amazing how far you get with these rules and just one 1...

Truly deserved the 100% rating, although still very weak at Fillomino it still was a pleasure to see the grid grow from that 1 region. Amazing puzzle! :D

Great puzzle. It really did feel like a crystalline structure growing out of the seed. Definitely one of those puzzles that seemed like it was "discovered" more than it was "set" (complimentary).

Such a nice flow from the seed all the way to the end. The consecutive regions constraint made it feel a bit like fortress fillomino.
