Normal sudoku rules apply.
Clues outside the grid indicate the digit which has to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit placed in the first cell in that direction.
Chevrons point to the smaller of two digits (color is cosmetic only).

Tough but manageable. My advice: go slow and steady, especially with the indexing. Thanks Blobz for another great puzzle.

I struggled to figure out where to look, but once I found the path, the logic followed nicely!
