Summary Killers

(Published today, 09:45 by Yawnus)

Here's another of my mystery killers, where the cage totals must be deduced by various rules. In this puzzle, neighboring cages always sum to the same combined total. Happy solving!

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits cannot repeat within a cage. For any two cages that share an edge, the sum of their totals is always the same.

Very nice! I thought that I understood the rules properly, but found out after ages that I didn't. Rereading now, the rules are clear enough, so my mistake. Thanks!

I'm not sure which would be the clearest wording for the main rule. Maybe "The sum of digits in two orthogonally connected cages is always the same"?

Very nice puzzle! I had to read the rules a couple of times, but after that smooth solving.

I don't think this works out. Could "edge" be a false friend translation error from "ecke", i.e. corner only?

Never mind. I got it. It means that the sum of two connected cages combined is always the same.
