Shikaku patches: Divide the grid into rectangular cages so that each cell belongs to exactly one cage and each cage contains exactly one circle. The digit in the circle is equal to the area of its cage. Digits may not repeat within a cage.

I found this one to be on the easy side of two star puzzles. Definitely harder than one star.

3+* for me. In the beginning didn't read that cages are rectangular so they CANNOT be irregular (in case this is useful for somebody... don't make the same mistake from misreading). Even after realizing that, the puzzle felt around 3*

Interesting puzzle. Solves like a GAS, provided that you see the 3+* break-in logic.

Definitely not 2* for me, unless I have missed something obvious, but really good puzzle :-)
