Sieving For Primes

(Published on 28. August 2026, 18:44 by gkammer)

Rules:

  • Standard 6x6 sudoku rules apply.
  • Draw non-overlapping cages around groups of orthogonally connected cells. The sum of a cage is represented by "??" on its upper leftmost cell (the leftmost of the cells in the uppermost row). Each cage has a unique number of cells and a unique sum, and each cage sum is a 2-digit prime number. Digits may repeat within a cage.
  • The sum of the digits along the negative diagonal is also a prime, and is not equal to any of the cage sums.
  • Cells separated by Vs sum to 5. Not all Vs are necessarily given.
