I like to thank all who tested the puzzle and wish you joyful solving!
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each Row, Column, and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
- Arrows: Digits on an arrow sum to the digit in the circle from which the arrow emerges.
- Little killer: Digits on a marked diagonal must sum to the clue outside the grid. (If there is no conflict with other rules, digits on such a diagonal may repeat.)

You are much welcome, RedBarchetta, thank you for your comment! I am glad you had a fun solve and liked the symmetry. When I started to set it, I did not expect the set-up to remain so symmetric. But when it did and the logic was nice, I of course tried to preserve it as best I could.

Advanced beginner here, took 38 minutes with mistakes along the way (i check for errors) It is solvable. I give it a 2.5* ¯_(•_•)_/¯

Congratulations on the solve and thank you for sharing your perspective, SanFranSam! I hope you had a fun solve. I also think this should be closer to 2*, but it is not for me to decide. The thing might be that there are a few thematic steps that (once you have seen them often enough) can become second nature for experienced solvers. Of course, that is only guess work on my end.
