Arrow-bic Exercise

(Published on 22. August 2026, 07:57 by aleksav)

My first puzzle submission, so any feedback is welcome! I think difficulty is a bit harder than average, so I've placed it at a 4, but it may be closer to a 3. In any case, I hope you have fun!

Rules:

  • Normal sudoku rules apply: place the digits 1-9 once in each row, column, and box.
  • Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in that arrow’s circle.

Difficult to break into, but well worth the struggle. Thanks for sharing this beautiful puzzle!

I got the break-in immediately, I had just a tiny bit of trouble with the middle, I'd say that 3* is a fair assessment. It's hard to build a good challenging pure arrow puzzle (especially one with almost nothing but small arrows) so kudos on putting that together!

Very nice! 4 star break-in to a 2 star puzzle onwards, loved it, thanks.

Very nice puzzle, took me some time to find the break-in but it felt great all along!

Hard to gauge difficulty on this one. The break-in is somewhat advanced (and very nice), and then the puzzle resolves quite easily after that. I think low 4* is probably right based on that?
