Normal sudoku rules apply.
VOLCANOES:
Cells with white circles are Volcano cells.
If a Volcano cell contains the digit x, then for every digit y which is less than or equal to x, there must be at least y instances of that digit within y cells of the Volcano cell INCLUDING the Volcano cell itself (Manhattan distance; adjacent cells are 1 cell apart).
For example, if a Volcano cell contained a 4, then it would have:
- one instance of the digit 1, at most 1 cell away (adjacent)
- two instances of the digit 2, at most 2 cells away
- three instances of the digit 3, at most 3 cells away
- four instances of the digit 4, at most 4 cells away, INCLUDING the 4 in the Volcano cell itself (i.e. there would be 3 others).
THERMOMETERS:
Digits on a thermometer strictly increase from the bulb end.

Great puzzle. I would put it at 2 starts as it has a little known rule of volcanoes.
Thanks!
