Sum Differences (region sums, difference dots)

(Published on 4. August 2026, 17:50 by Chilly)

Here is a simple experiment with region sum lines and difference dots that I made a while ago. It's pretty straightforward - please enjoy.

The Rules:

  • Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  • Region sum lines: Box borders divide the blue lines into segments, and the digits on each segment must have the same sum. Different lines may have different sums.
  • Digits separated by a white dot have a difference indicated by the number in the dot.

That's a lot more doable with the 6 in r1c5 :P

Very good puzzle, 22:35 to solve. I agree with the 2* difficulty, as there was a few challenges that I had to work through.

Thanks - glad you enjoyed!

Nice puzzle. Regarding the wording: Two things cannot be between one thing. You probably mean two digits connected by a white dot. :)

Yep - slip of the keyboard. Fixed now, thanks.
