Chaos construction: Divide the grid into nine non-overlapping regions, each consisting of nine orthogonally connected cells. Some borders between the regions are already given. Fill the grid with digits 1–9 so that each row, column, and region contains each digit exactly once.

Region sum cages: Digits may not repeat within a cage, and no cage is entirely contained within a single region. Region borders divide each cage into pieces with equal sums. That is, in each region containing cells of a cage, those cells form a single orthogonally connected piece, and all pieces of that cage have the same sum (different cages may have different sums).

Kropki dots: Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all possible dots are necessarily given.

Solution code: Row 6 with "/" for region borders (e.g. 123/4/5678/9)

Wow! This was such a challenge, but also incredibly rewarding to solve :-) It took me almost an hour to get my first number, but then things slowly but surely fell into place in a really satisfying way.

I agree that the rule phrasing around region divisions feels a little vague - I got a bit confused by it later in the puzzle, as I wasn't sure if I could proceed with the assumption that a region can only enter a box once. For better or worse I decided that's what you meant, and finished just shy of 3 hours!!

Thank you so much for crafting and sharing it :-)
