Country X-Sum

Rules:
Irregular Sudoku: Fill the grid with the digits 1-9 so that no digit repeats within a row, column, or region.
Country Road: Draw a non-intersecting, orthogonal loop through the centers of some cells which passes through each region exactly once. Any pair of orthogonally adjacent cells across a region border must have at least one of the cells visited by the loop.
X-Sum: Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the first x digits on the loop in that row/column, from that direction, where x is the first of those digits on the loop.

Awesome but gosh this was difficult. 5 stars for me, or maybe 6 because without valacd I wouldn't have made it, ever.
I'm amazed how the few clues made the unique pattern possible.
