A while ago I published this test puzzle for a new type of whispers line constraint, and ever since I've been planning to follow it up with a full 9x9 puzzle.
I've finally completed one... I hope you enjoy the concept! If you want a tutorial then I suggest giving the test puzzle a go first :)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column and 3x3 box.
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.
The pale green line is a Region Whispers line. This line has a different "whisper value" in each 3x3 box of the sudoku grid it enters. Along a Region Whisper line, adjacent digits must differ by at least the "whisper value" for the box it is in. For example, in the box with a whisper value of 3, adjacent digits on the line must differ by at least 3.
The whisper value in each box is unique and must be determined by the solver. The pale green diamond in each box contains that box's whisper value.
Please note: Where the Region Whispers line passes from one box to the next, the pair of digits either side of the box border must satisfy the whisper value of both boxes. For example, if the line passes from the box with whisper value "3" to the box with whisper value "4", the pair of digits either side of that box boundary must differ by at least 4.
Solution code: Row 8

Very enjoyable! You're never completely stuck, but it's often not completely obvious where to look next either. That makes each new discovery very satisfying. Thanks for setting and sharing!
