So ChinStrap pondered about a full rank puzzle where only the (skyscraper) seen digits were ranked, and here it is...
- Normal sudoku rules apply.

Full Skyscraper Rank:
- Seen digits in rows and columns, read in both directions, make a total of 36 numbers of one to nine digits. For that effect, larger digits block lower digits from being seen.
- Clues outside the grid indicate the rank in ascending order among those 36 numbers for the indicated column or row in the direction of the clue.
- One or more equal numbers are considered to be at rank N when there are N-1 numbers of strictly lower rank. (For example, we say there are three numbers in rank 20 when there are 19 numbers of lower rank and the next rank will be 23, i.e. the ranks could go ⋯, 19, 20, 20, 20, 23, ⋯)

Such novel and interesting ways to think about Full Rank.
Found it very difficult, and was thrown by reverting to normal assumptions on multiple occasions, but it all came together beautifully.

Beautiful puzzle, very glad I started taking notes early, filling in all the gaps over time was incredibly satisfying. I solved it relatively quickly given the difficulty rating, but a lot of that I did tab out to write notes, so take that with a grain of salt

What an amazing puzzle! Great execution of ChinStrap's idea. Not at all easy but I enjoyed it all the way through.

Another lovely Full Rank from you, excellent work! That puzzle was really weird but also really cool, very refreshing to think of a Full Rank in a different way :-)
