phistomefel seems to be a red herring here. yes, you can remove 12 from the corners, but how does that help ?
the tricks are to realize that symmetry is broken in r3, lots of goodliffing, careful reduction, and heavy focus on basic sudoku

Great puzzle! Definitely more of a 2*, though.

I don't really know how I finished it but I don't feel like I used a lot of logic, just a lot of pencil-marks and bifurcation ^^' Still, nice setting!
