A few months ago, Simon had commented that when
Cracking The Cryptic hit 700,000 subscribers on YouTube, Mark would celebrate by playing Dance Dance Revolution.
I took that as a challenge, so you can play it in your own living room rather than going to the arcade! :-)
Sincere congratulations to CTC on this amazing milestone!
The Rules:
• Normal Sudoku Rules apply
• Up/Down/Left/Right arrows in Row 1 are the current step - you need to step on the corresponding arrow in either box 7 or 9 (ie, if R1C2 is 9, then 9 needs to appear in either R8C1 or R8C7)
• Black arrows in Columns 2/4/6/8 are 'next steps'. Next steps count the number of digits of the same parity as the arrow, along the line the arrow is pointing to
• "Fortress Cells" have a digit greater than any orthogonally adjacent cells
• Digits in cages MULTIPLY to the sum shown in the cage. Digits may repeat in cages (700 x 1000 for 700,000 subscribers!)

Ik vind deze erg leuk, je moet er echt heel intens over nadenken. Uiteindelijk komt alles wel op zijn plek!

Fun puzzle, but I did get stuck early on and couldn't really figure out which line to make progress on. I made a guess on one possibility and it never failed so it must be right! Not sure what I missed.

Awesome puzzle, I danced all the way through it! Very difficult, but I was never 'stuck' - just had to work through the elegant logic. When will we see it on CTC?
