Phil’s Line Editor Tool
(Published on 23. September 2026, 22:58 by phil_the)
This puzzle was written for Scojo’s secret imposter event. In the first week we had to create a puzzle in our own style. I thought it might be fun to make a puzzle based on the opening screen of the
line editor tool.

Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column and 3x3 box.
Along orange Dutch whisper lines adjacent cells must contain digits that differ by at least 4.
Along Green German whisper lines adjacent cells must contain digits that differ by at least 5.
Cells connected by a purple Renban line contain a set of non-repeating consecutive digits not necessarily in order.
Along a red parity line adjacent cells must not be both even nor both odd.
Clues outside the grid are either skyscraper clues and/or sandwich sums.
Skyscraper clues give the number of buildings seen looking into the grid from that side along the row or column where each digit represents the height of a building and taller buildings obscure the view of shorter ones.
Sandwich sums give the total sum of all the digits found between the 1 and the 9 in the row or column.
Some of the digits in the outside clues have been replaced with letters. Each of the letters P, H,L and T represent a different digit and together form a set of non-repeating consecutive values not necessarily in order.
Solution code: values of P, H, L, T in that order.
