Rainbow Arrows in Fog

(Published on 26. June 2026, 01:53 by Jigokuro)

It always bugged me that the unique arrow length rule I devised could never be enough clue to be the only rule since it can only occupy so many cells. Then it hit me: make it the only rule multiple times!
Basically reusing the break in from my first puzzle; I was happy with that part, but the rest of the puzzle was rather shoehorned in both rules and path to get it functional. This is much smoother on both counts, though do not conflate that with easy.

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Fog: The grid is covered in fog. Placing correct digits reveals clues in the surrounding 3x3 area.
Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the number in its attached circle.
Unique Arrows per color: All arrows of the same color are a different length. Arrows do not cross or overlap.
All colors are significantly different and colorblind friendly. Lines are too thin to be visible in crossed corners.* No guessing is required, nor is any squinting!

*e.g. there could be an line from r3c4 to r4c5 without being seen in the revealed r4c4.

I’d highly recommend this puzzle to anyone that likes a challenge. All of the logic involved in the break-in is incredible and from there, the puzzle just keeps on giving. One of the best fog of war puzzles you’ll see. :)
