VariantDoku Daily Puzzle: June 22

(Published on 22. June 2026, 10:28 by Brandy New)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-6 once each in every row, column, and 2x3 box.

Killer: digits inside a caged region must not repeat and sum to the total shown in the corner.

Kropki: digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (i.e. one digit is double the other). Not all dots are necessarily given.

Cells connected by an X sum to 10. Cells connected by a V sum to 5. Not all Xs and Vs are given.

Solve in VariantDoku (iOS) or on SudokuPad.

Solution code: Enter the digits of row 1.

@macintux I feel ya about bifurcating. I usually give up on a puzzle if i have to do it. But i did seen the logical solution at the end. I am assuming that we reached the same point in the solve.

Potential Spoilers:

It has to do with the options for the 16 cage. R1C5 and R3C6. And where those two cells look.

About 3/4 through I couldn’t find any reasoning to proceed, just went with bifurcation. Curious whether I missed something.
