Lovely puzzle. I like the rewording suggested by superkinkel. Perhaps make that change in the sudokupad rules too?

I like your new rule, I however I don't like the overcomplicated wording, which left me confused initially.

Could I suggest to skip the long and unneccesary "draw diagonals" part and just write:

"In any originally shaded box, along each diagonal the center digit and one of the corner digits sums to the opposite corner digit."

Or draw in the diagonals right away. "Draw xyz" always implies that one has to figure out what to draw first.

Reply...I like that suggestion, well worded..thank you. Changed to say that.

1* for those who read instructions carefully (and can remember them)

The puzzle was nice, but I found the wording to be a bit confusing in my opinion. Talking about regions instead of boxes or square instead of cell/digit threw me off a little

Reply...I was picked up previously by a pedantic person who said I shouldn't call the 3*3 regions 1-9 "boxes" because a box is a 3-D figure and they are technically squares. Cant win!! :)

1.5 star maybe? I wish the diagonals were marked, kept forgetting about them.

Nice puzzle! As long as you don't keep forgetting about the diagonals rule (like I did), it should be a smooth 1*

Flows rather nicely if you keep the diagonal sums rule in mind at all times

Very nice but probably nearer 2 star difficulty for this one maybe?

There was a lot of headscratching going on here until I remembered the little diagonals. Nice puzzle!

Reply... :) thank you.

I really like how that diagonal rule played out. Don’t think I’ve seen that before, but it made for a very smooth puzzle. Thanks!

Reply...thanks. Glad you liked it. I made up the rule.
