Pillars

Rules:

Within the 9x9 grid place the digits 1-9 once each into every row column, and box.

Pillars:
Next to the grid a model of the solution is shown, where each digit is represented by a pillar with a height matching the digit. The sides of each pillar are grey with a lit top face. The model is viewed from the front looking down with a 45° angle using a projection that does not give depth information.

It took a bit to realize the fundamental logic, but once the initial hurdles were conquered it ended up being a cool puzzle with a very intriguing premise.
